We run focused, half-day and full-day sessions for managers who want to get better at the hard parts: giving feedback, running meetings that matter, and making decisions under pressure. Based in Scotland, delivered wherever you need us.

Why most leadership training falls flat

Generic slide decks and motivational talks don't stick. Here's what we see in organisations before they work with us, and what shifts after.

Before the workshop

  • Meetings run long with no clear outcomes or owners
  • Feedback conversations get avoided for weeks or months
  • New managers copy the habits of their own bosses, good and bad
  • Decisions stall because nobody knows who has the final say

After the workshop

  • Each meeting ends with written actions, owners, and deadlines
  • Managers practise feedback live during the session, with coaching
  • Participants leave with a personal leadership playbook they actually reference
  • Teams adopt a clear decision-rights framework within the first week back

What we offer

Three workshop formats, each built around real scenarios your managers face. No role-play with strangers. No trust falls.

The half-day intensive

Four hours, one topic. We pick the skill your team needs most: running effective one-to-ones, handling conflict, or delegating without micro-managing. Groups of 8 to 14 people. Everyone leaves with a written action plan and a peer accountability partner.

Full-day deep dive

A complete day covering decision-making, communication under pressure, and team alignment. We use your real projects as case material. Lunch is included. By 4pm, each participant has rehearsed at least two difficult conversations with live facilitator feedback.

Quarterly leadership series

Four sessions spread across a year, each building on the last. Between workshops, participants complete short assignments with their own teams. We track progress through brief pulse surveys and share the data with you. This format works well for organisations promoting ten or more people into management roles each year.

How it works

From first conversation to follow-up, here's the path.

Discovery call

A 25-minute video call where we learn about your team structure, current pain points, and what good looks like for you. No sales pitch. We ask questions, you talk.

Proposal and scoping

Within three working days, you receive a written proposal with the recommended format, a draft agenda, group size guidance, and a clear fee. One price, no hidden extras for materials or follow-up.

Pre-workshop prep

We send a short questionnaire to each participant. Takes five minutes. Their answers shape the scenarios we use on the day, so everything feels relevant rather than theoretical.

The session itself

Facilitated by one of our two lead practitioners, both with 10+ years of management coaching experience. Expect small-group exercises, live practice, written reflection, and honest feedback from peers.

Post-session debrief

You get a summary report within a week: key themes, anonymised participant feedback, and two or three specific recommendations for ongoing development. We also schedule a 30-minute check-in call six weeks later.

Ongoing support

Participants can email us questions for 90 days after the workshop. Many do. Common follow-ups include "how do I handle this specific situation" requests, which we answer within 48 hours.

What changes after a session

A financial services firm in Edinburgh sent twelve team leads through our full-day programme in March 2024. Six months later, their internal engagement survey showed a 19-point increase in the "my manager gives me useful feedback" score.

A mid-sized tech company in Glasgow ran three half-day workshops across their engineering leadership group. Meeting duration dropped by an average of 22 minutes per week per team. That freed roughly 15 hours of collective time each month.

These aren't outliers. We collect post-session data from every client and publish aggregated results annually. The pattern is consistent: managers who practise skills in a structured environment apply them faster and more confidently than those who only read about them.

Common questions

How many people can attend a single session?
We cap most sessions at 14 participants. Smaller groups of 6 to 8 work well for senior leadership teams who want more individual coaching time. For the quarterly series, we can run parallel groups if you have 20 or more people.
Do you travel outside Scotland?
Yes. About a third of our work is in England, and we've delivered sessions in Belfast and Dublin. Travel costs are included in the fee for locations within mainland UK. For other destinations, we add actual travel expenses at cost.
Can workshops be delivered online?
We offer a remote version of the half-day intensive. It runs on Zoom with breakout rooms and a shared Miro board. The full-day format works best in person because the afternoon exercises rely on physical movement and face-to-face practice.
What does a session cost?
The half-day intensive starts at £1,800 plus VAT. The full day is £3,200 plus VAT. The quarterly series is priced per session with a 15% discount when you commit to all four dates upfront. We share exact pricing in the proposal after the discovery call.
Who facilitates the sessions?
Our two lead facilitators are both former operational managers who moved into coaching and facilitation full-time. One spent eight years managing product teams at a FTSE 250 company. The other ran a 60-person customer operations department. They bring real management scars, not just theory.
